We had to begin our day with a nice hot fire... it was really cold this morning and we always like to practice fire building. After all, tomorrow is campfire!!!! After some nice songs (River Nile, Done, Gibberish...) everyone got to werk. Specifically trying to fulfill the requirements to get deeds for land. Appraisal day should be tomorrow (it might be Monday- but don't tell anyone!), which means that all of the houses, fences, landscaping, furnishing, surveying, ... other (?) must be complete. We are SO close!! By the end of the day all but 3 houses were on the land. We are nearly as close to finishing up our maps. I suspect the morning to morrow will be a mad dash to fill these lovely new homes with some fine furnishings.
As it was quite cool and many homesteaders had a lot of work to catch up on, many stayed behind from swimming. We were very productive. A glass castle even saw completion!!!
The afternoon brought with it more work and an amazing radio show. Filled with sing alongs and fill ins by the DJs! Ask you homesteader to play "You can do it like this" with you!
