Day 11

Yet another sweltering day!  We started off right with some great singing:  the Fez County Homesteader song, the Done song, the Titanic, and a bit of Gibberish.  We broke into groups by number to check on everyone's progress.  Are we on track to completing houses by Friday???   Some of are!!!  We are also working on some great skits for campfire with our groups in the morning.  BeZerk began with a talk radio show called  "What's Really Happening" with Cassandra.  Her guests were the select peeps and the town clerk.  The first bits I heard were arguing between G'lant and Boris, something about a blue alligator and a coffee bean.  "I did not come here to argue," said Boris.
"MMMrrrrMMmmrr mmrrmmtaxation.." -Jim
Cassandra asks, "What's the deal with no more town meetings?"
Boris answers, "Town meetings are no longer necessary.  Our meetings will always be public."
"They voted me off" - G'lant

 "No one understands alligator."- Boris
"Okay, so there is a 100 FF fine for trespassing?"- Cassandra
"It is easy to avoid a fine if your fence is good." -Boris
"What about the court?" -Cassandra
"MMmmm mmm rrrmmm" -Jim
"Yes, that's right."- Boris
"Not all of the votes were fair yesterday."-Cassandra
"Alright, every vote was fair and unanimous except the one about town meeting." - Boris
"That's all the time we have.  We have a lot of coffee beans and stupidity." -Cassandra
The radio show is hard to understand when read here, out of context.  There is more info in today's Red Fez about the meeting from yesterday.  The select peeps, or at least Boris and maybe Jim (I'm not sure about Jim because I cannot understand much of what he says) have become even more secretive at their meetings.  I heard that they passed a law banning recording devices and note taking at their meetings.  Not even the secretary is allowed to take notes!

Other happenings today were:  completed fences, another completed house, rugs and pants for sale, house painting, wood cutting, lumber drawing, newspaper writing, radio shows, commerce, and furniture building!  I think everyone has moved on to the drawing of house pieces on lumber!  We also chose a design for the 2013 Village tee shirts!
